Jewell's men's basketball ran through Ottawa Universtiy on Friday night at the Mabee Center in Liberty, taking an 86-57 decision against the NAIA Braves.

The Cardinals enter the holiday break at 4-4, and have off until January 5th's game with Northern Kentucky.

Nick Larson had 21 points for the Cardinals, Mark Mason had 17, Chris Uz 11 points and Devonte Bell 10.  The Cardinals shot 58% for the game to Ottawa's 43%.
