The Cardinals continue their weekend road trip to St. Louis witih Saturday afternoon games at Maryville University.

The Cardinal women (11-3, 6-2 GLVC), coming off a win against UMSL, now are tied for the Western Division lead with Drury and Missouri S&T.  Jewell has won five sraight games covering the last 13 days.  The game against Maryville (8-8, 4-4) begins at 1:00 Saturday afternoon, with coverage on the WJC Sports Network beginning at 12:40.

The Jewell men (5-9, 2-6) lost in the last seconds to Western Division-leading UMSL on Thursday, 69-68.  They try to bounce back Saturday agains Maryville (8-7, 2-6), a team they have defeated the last two years in non-conference play as preperation for the move this year to NCAA D2 and the GLVC.  The game is scheduled for 3:15, with coverage beginning at approximately 2:55.

Next Thursday, the teams travel to Drury.
