The Jewell men dropped the second game of the St. Louis road trip, falling to Maryville 67-54 Saturday afternoon.

After trailing by two at the half, the Cardinals watched a Maryville run during the last 10 minutes of the game put the game out of reach.  Their were six ties in the game and 13 lead changes, but the Saints were too much down the stretch in handing Jewell the defeat.

Devonte Bell led Jewell scorers with 16 points, while Chris Uz added 12 on four three-pointers. 

Jewell was outscored 26-1 off the bench, and 32-16 in the paint.  Maryville also took advantage of 14 Cardinal turnovers, outscoring Jewell 18-3 off turnovers.

The Cardinal men (5-10, 2-7 GLVC) go to Drury Thursday night to face the Panthers.
