NCAA Division II champs and #5 rated Bellarmine University defeated Jewell Saturday afternoon 85-57 in Louisville, KY.

Jewell (4-6, 1-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play) was led by Nick Larson, who  went 8-9 from the field and had 17 points, and Mark Mason, who added another 16.

Bellarmine (11-1, 3-1) dominated for large stretches in the game, and shot 59% from the field.  They lead Division II in shooting percentage percentage at 56%.

The Cardinals return to Liberty to face Southern Indiana (#2 in the nation) on Thursday night.  Tipoff at the Mabee Center is scheduled for 7:45.
