Box Score William Jewell College football travelled to Urbana, Ohio and ran into a red-hot Blue Knight team, who downed the Cards in a 53-7 decision at Urbaba University Stadium.

Urbana made quick work of Jewell, building a 40-0 lead at halftime, aided by four Cardinal turnovers in the half.

With the ultimate outcome decided early, the Cardinals played evenly with Urbana the rest of the way.  The first drive of the second half was highlighted by Quentin Riser's 61 yard gain on a reverse, and set up a 4 yard Thomas Cook, Junior score.  Cook had 107 yards rushing on 27 carries, and caught two three passes for an additional 20 yards.

Sean Shelton threw for 162 yards on a 13-27 day, with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Jewell did not force a turnover in the game.

The Cardinals wrap up their season at home against Quincy next  Saturday at Greene Stadium, with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff against Quincy University.
