William Jewell first year player Kaylee Marquardt posted a match-high 9 kills to lead a Jewell offense that hit .290 as the Cardinals volleyball team earned its 12th victory with a 3-0 Senior Night win over the visiting Panthers of Drury University this evening at the Mabee Center. Set scores were 25-23, 25-17 and 25-15. The win moves the Jewell record to 12-15 overall and 6-9 the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while Drury drops to 14-16 overall and 6-9 in the GLVC. The Cardinals honored seniors Hannah Herndon, Catherine Bruno and Carrie King. 

Marquardt hit .273 as she posted 9 kills on 22 attacks with just three errors. Christina Pratt and Jordan Jackson each posted 8 kills and Cailynn Hayter handed out 31 assists and posted a service ace.

Defensively, the Cardinals won the digs count 56-50 as Katie Damgar totaled 17, Kelsey Moffit posted 13 and senior Hannah Herndon recorded 10.

The Cardinals will host Missouri S&T on Saturday with first serve set for 3:00 p.m. at the Mabee Center.
