Western Division leading Quincy dominated William Jewell in women's GLVC basketball Saturday, downing the Cardinals 78-51.  Quincy held a 48-22 advantage on the boards.

The Cardinals got down by early and trailed by eight at the half, 36-28, shooting 33% to Quincy's 45%.  In the second half, though, the Hawks kept the Cardinals at bay by shooting 46% and hitting six three-pointers in the half, while Jewell shot 36% and connected on two three-point shots.  Quincy also tallied 19 assists in the game to five for the Cardinals, and outscored the Cardinals 17-7 in second-chance points.

Cassy Nicolay had 17 points for the Cardinals (13-8, 8-7 in the GLVC).  Chelsea Meeks and Jessie Wheeler each had eight for Jewell.
