Instead of possible GLVC Tournament or NCAA tournament bids that are prohibited to them as provisional NCAA members, the Cardinal basketball teams are travelling to Las Vegas for the D2 Las Vegas Showdown this weekend, facing teams that are also in their final year of transition to NCAA D2 play.

The Jewell women and men  will play Minot State on Saturday in a doubleheader at 3:00 and 5:00 CST on Saturday, then face the University of Sioux Falls in a similar format on Sunday at 3:00 and 5:00.

The games can be heard for free on the William Jewell College Sports Network, and pay-per-view video coverage (which will include the WJCSN's play by play) is available through the Trip Sports website.
