Cardinal Women Hang On Against Illinois-Springfield

The Cardinal women used key free throws by Aerial Smith and Chelsea Meeks in defeating the University of Illinois-Springfield 64-60 on the road Thursday night.

The Cardinals (13-7, 8-6 GLVC) led by as many as 15 in the second half.

Holly Switzer and Meeks each had 19 points, and Katlyn Wood had 13.
