William Jewell dropped it's GLVC matchup with Illinois-Springfield Thursday night 78-63 on the road.  The Cardinals got off to a decent start, but foul trouble by senior post Nick Larson limited him to six minutes in the first half and 23 minutes in the game as the Cardinals were downed for the second time this year by UIS.

Chris Uz led Jewell with 13 points, Nate Kroeker had 11 and Devonte Bell added 10.  The Cardinals (7-13, 4-10 in the GLVC) shot 26% in the first half and trailed by eight at that point.

The Cards will play at Quincy University Saturday afternoon.
