Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team hosted former Heart of America Athletic Conference rival Missouri Valley College on Friday at Metro East Tennis Center and came away with a 9-0 victory.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Paula Peters and Katy Lehenbauer came away with an impressive 8-2 victory.   The No. 2 duo of Loree Hazelrigg and Conner Hazelrigg won by a score of 8-4 and junior Hana Lindbloom teamed up with Jewell first-year player Kristen Stivers and came away with an 8-1 victory at  No. 3 doubles.

In singles, No. 1 player, Paula Peters, had a solid win over Missouri Valley's Elanqua Griffin 4-6, 6-1 and 10-4.  Carli Bisesi, Kristen Stivers, Hana Lindbloom, Katy Lehenbauer and Jaimie Baker all won in straight sets in convincing fashion.

The Cardinals, 7-2 on the season, will take open up Great Lakes Valley Western Division Conference play on Saturday against Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., at 10:00 a.m.
