The William Jewell College women's tennis team got back to its Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule on Friday following a win over Missouri Western, rolling over host University of Illinois-Springfield 9-0 for its seventh match shutout win of the season.

In doubles competition, Jewell's Paula Peters and Katy Lehenbauer won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles  while the twin sister duo of Conner and Loree Hazelrigg won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.  Hana Lindbloom and Kristen Stivers dominated their match at No. 3 doubles 8-0 as the Cardinals took a 3-0 overall lead.

Peters, Carli Bisesi, Stivers, Lindbloom, Loree Hazelrigg and Jaimie Baker each won singles matches easily as the Cardinals won their fourth straight match and third straight GLVC contest.

The Cardinals (11-5, 3-2 GLVC) will be back in action Saturday for a GLVC match when they travel to Quincy, Ill., to take on Quincy University at 10:00 a.m.
