After defeating Lindenwood-Belleville on Friday the William Jewell College women's tennis team dominated former Heart of America Conference rival Lindenwood University on Saturday 9-0 to end the 2012 spring season. 

The Cardinals got out to a commanding start taking all three doubles matches.  Paula Peters and Katy Lehenbauer made quick work of Lindenwood at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-2.  Conner and Loree Hazelrigg upended their opponents 8-1 at No. 2 doubles and Kristen Stivers and Hana Lindbloom put Jewell up 3-0 with their 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles. 

In singles, the Cardinals swept all six singles matches with the closest contests coming at No. 2 and No. 5 singles respectively.   The win marked the seventh straight win for the Cards. 

The Cardinals end their 2012 season with a final mark of 14-5 and a 4-2 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference good for a third place finish in the western division.
