The William Jewell College volleyball team fell to Rockhurst University 3-0 (18-25, 18-25, 18-25) in Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Tuesday in Kansas City, Mo.  The Cardinals fall to 4-7 on the season, while Rockhurst improves to 9-2. 

Sophomore Christina Pratt (Kansas City, Mo.) led the Cardinals with 10 kills, while first-year player Kaylee Marquardt (Kansas City, Mo.) finished with five kills and 18 digs. Cailynn Hayter (Branson, Mo.) tallied 21 assists,  and five digs in the match. Junior Katie Damgar (Liberty, Mo.) added 21 digs, while Taylor Williamson (Junction City, Kan.) netted six kills. 

The Cardinals are back in action this weekend as they make their home debut on Friday, September 21 against Maryville University at 7:00 p.m. on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
