The William Jewell College volleyball team made quick work of University of Illinois-Springfield on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action, defeating the Prairie Stars by scores of 25-13, 25-19, and 25-8. The Cardinals improve to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in the GLVC. 

Kaylee Marquardt tallied 9 kills and 6 digs while Hannah Herndon tossed in 8 kills and 7 digs.  Libero Katie Damgar recorded 6 digs, while Cailynn Hayter served up 28 assists.

Jewell is back on the road on tomorrow  at Quincy University and is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. in Quincy, Ill.
