After splitting their Friday matches in the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover Volleyball Challenge, Jewell finished the event Saturday with a loss to the University of Findlay in Aurora, Illinois.
Jewell's
Lauren Holm hit .429 in the match and had seven kills. Â
Libby Ording also had seven kills while
Cailynn Hayter recorded 20 assists in the match, and
Katie Damgar had 12 digs. Â
Kelsey Wagner had two services aces.
Lindsay (14-9) hit .350 in the match and had 10 service aces.
The 25-20, 25-12, 25-20 loss drops the Cardinals to 4-21 on the year.
Jewell returns to the road and GLVC play next weekend, taking on Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday and Lewis University on Sunday.

The GLIAC & GLVC Each Post 24 Wins in the 2013 Mizuno Crossover Volleyball Tournament
AURORA, Ill. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) each won 24 of the 48 matches at the 2013 Mizuno Crossover Volleyball Tournament sharing the tournament title. The Mizuno Crossover Tournament is largest collegiate volleyball tournament in the nation.

Two GLIAC teams posted 3-0 records at the Event. No. 17 Grand Valley State University posted wins over No. 15 Truman State University (Mo.), the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and the University of Southern Indiana over the weekend. Saginaw Valley State University was able to claim wins over Missouri S&T, Southern Indiana and Missouri-St. Louis to go undefeated at the event.
Just one GLVC team, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, was able to go 3-0 at the event, posting wins over the University of Findlay, Malone University and Lake Superior State University
The GLVC holds a 3-2-1 series lead in the event, winning titles in 2010, 2011 and 2012The GLIAC claimed titles in 2008 and 2009, the first two years of the tournament.Â
