William Jewell men's basketball rolled to a convincing 93-80 win over Pittsburg State University Tuesday night at the Mabee Center to pick up their first win of the year.

Leading 43-28 at half, the Cardinals cruised to the victory.  Pitt State (0-2) made a run to cut a 23 point lead to 11 late in the game, but it was not enough to overcome the early advantage.

Devonte Bell had 22 points for the Cardinals (1-2), while Cyril Bilong added 18, Jordan Lewis 17, and Clint McCullogh 13.

The Cardinals entertain Upper Iowa University in non-conference play Saturday as a part of a women's-men's doubleheader starting at 2:00.
