Visiting McKendree University handed the host William Jewell College women's volleyball team a 3-0 setback Saturday night in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup in the Mabee Center.    

The Bearcats, who won by scores of 27-25, 25-18, 25-21, improved to 11-16 while the Cardinals fell to 4-23 after their fourth straight defeat.

Jewell mustered 37 kills over the course of the match with Christina Pratt leading the way with 9.  Kaylee Marquardt added 8 and Libby Ording and Kelsey Wagner each had 6. Katie Damgar had 16 digs while Cailynn Hayter added 6.  Hayter posted a team high 14 assists and while Kelsey Moffitt chipped in with 13.

The Cardinals host the University of Illinois-Springfield on Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. meeting at the Mabee Center on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
