The William Jewell College women's tennis team improved to 5-1 on the spring with a 9-0 victory over Colorado Christian University on Saturday morning in Grand Island, Neb. 

Loree and Conner Hazelrigg ran their doubles record to 6-0 on the spring season with an 8-2 win over Kara Williams and Cameron Shelby in the No. 2 flight.

Singles play saw the Cardinals win every match.  Kristen Stivers won her match at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4, while Hana Lindbloom won a hard fought 6-4, 6-4 match at No. 2 singles.  Katy Lehenbauer was a 6-3, 7-5 winner at No. 3 singles while Savannah Drew, Loree Hazelrigg and Carli Bisesi won their matches in 8 game pro-sets by scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0 respectively.

Jewell looks to continue its winning streak on Friday against Lindenwood University.    First serve from Clayview Country Club is set for 2:00 p.m.
