The William Jewell College volleyball team lost 3-0 in non-conference action against No. 12 Wayne State College (Neb.) on Tuesday night at the Mabee Center.

The Wildcats won by set scores of 25-4, 25-17 and 25-17.  Wayne State improves to 18-4 overall while Jewell falls to 3-18.

Christina Pratt led the Cardinals with 8 kills and Kaylee Marquardt had six kills and 12 digs.  Amy Lindhorst had 21 assists on the night and Lesley Iron finished the contest with 14 digs. 

The Cardinals will return to Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Saturday as they host Lewis University at 5:00 p.m.
