The William Jewell College volleyball team dropped a straight set match to Truman State on Friday. The Cards lost by set scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-21.
The Bulldogs (12-2, 8-0 GLVC) hit .237 on the evening, committing 16 errors with 44 kills. The Cardinals (2-12, 1-7 GLVC) hit .101 with 16 errors and 29 kills.
Jewell was led by
Kelsey Wagner with 10 kills and seven digs.
Alix Weigel dished out 20 assists and
Lesley Iron led the Cards with 14 digs.
The Cards will travel to Quincy, Ill., to take on Quincy University on Saturday. The match at Pepsi Arena is scheduled for3:00 p.m.
