The William Jewell College volleyball closed out the 2014 season against the Miners of Missouri S&T falling 3-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

The Miners grabbed the first and second set 25-20, and 25-15 respectively before the Cardinals took the third set 25-19. Unfortunately the Miners were able to end the game winning the fourth and final set 25-16.

Kelsey Wagner had 13 kills for the Cardinals, followed by
Libby Ording with 11 kills and three blocks.Â
Amy Lindhorst assisted the Cards 34 times and Cody Winslow led the team with 16 digs, followed by
Lesley Iron with 15.

Christina Pratt were honored for their dedication to the William Jewell Volleyball Program in the senior night presentation. Ording and Pratt are both middle blockers and Iron is the libero for the program.Â

The Cardinals ended their season with a record of 3-25 and 1-17 in the GLVC. The young Cardinal bunch has high hopes for their 2015 season.
