The William Jewell College women's tennis team dominated from start to finish, as the Cardinals lost just eight games in a 9-0 win over former Heart of America Conference rival Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., on Friday evening.
At No. 1 doubles,
Kristen Stivers and
Katy Lehenbauer paired up for the 8-1 win over Asia Harris and Ana Hernandez. Stivers blanked Metseff, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles, while Lehenbauer  shut out Lulu Ruding , 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles.
At No. 2 doubles, Conner and
Loree Hazelrigg dropped Myers and Bre Cunningham 8-1.Â
Conner Hazelrigg also beat Cunningham, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 5 singles, while
Loree Hazelrigg handed Madison Wendt a 6-0, 6-0, defeat at No. 6 singles.
The Cards completed the sweep at No. 3 doubles, when
Savannah Drew and
Lauren Huddlestun matched up for the 8-0 win over Caroline Lockwood and Wendt. Drew earned the 6-3, 6-1 win over Myers  at No. 2 singles, while Huddlestun closed out Lockwood, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 3 singles.
The Cardinals, 4-4, will travel to Emporia, Kan., on Monday, March 24 for a matchup against Emporia State University with first-serve set for 5:30 p.m.
