Cards Drop 2-0 Decision to UMSL


The University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons scored two late second half goals to defeat William Jewell College 2-0 in men's soccer action on Sunday in St. Louis, Mo.  The Cardinals fall to 1-5-2 overall and 1-3-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.  UMSL with the win improves to 6-1-1 and 5-1 in the GLVC. 

UMSL dominated the stat sheet, outshooting the Cards 18-9 overall and 12-5 on goal.  The Tritons also led in corner kicks 7-5.

Aaron Froehlich, Jordan Lindsey, and Ethan Delaney all led Jewell with two shots on the afternoon.    Shane Van Hooser took the loss facing 18 shots with 10 saves.

The Cards will return home to face Rogers State University on Tuesday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m.
