Jewell women's basketball got another solid performance on the road at Quincy University Saturday afternoon, but again came away without a win in a 78-76 loss to the Hawks.

Aerial Smith running three-pointer from the top of the key with time expiring bounced off the back of the rim.
The Cardinals (10-7, 5-4) dropped a game at Truman State Thursday night in similar fashion
The win puts Quincy a game in front of Jewell in the GLVC Western Division standings, and gives the Hawks the tiebreaker in thebattle for playoff position.
Smith had 18 points to lead Jewell, along with 7 assists.
Hayli Jo Smith hit 5-7 three point attempts for 15 points, and
Maddie Nelson had 14 points.
