The William Jewell College women's soccer team fell behind to No. 2 Quincy early on Friday and never recovered, ultimately losing to the Hawks, 3-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Quincy's first goal came just over 10 minutes into the contest when Abby Pulliam scored the first of her three goals.Â
The Cards held the Hawks scoreless for the rest of the half and went into halftime down 1-0. Â
Pulliam scored at the 56:50 mark to double the score and she pulled off the hat trick four minutes later which produced the winning 3-0 margin.Â
Quincy outshot Jewell 15-4 and led 8-1 in corner kicks.
The Cardinals (4-4-2, Â 2-4-1 GLVC) will travel to Kirksville, Mo., on Sunday, October 4 to take on Truman State University at 12:00 p.m.
