Sabrine Navarro saved three match points in her thrilling 1-6, 7-6, 6-4 match at No. 2 singles. McKendree then took a 4-3 lead when Anna Mernick bested
Katy Lehenbauer 6-3, 6-4. Two first year players were able to clinch the match for Jewell.Â
Claire Mackay tied the match 4-4 with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles and
Seki Anderson earned a second consecutive match clinching win as she edged Tori Lindsay 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.Â
Jewell (6-1) is back in action against Christian Brothers on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Â in Memphis, Tenn.
