Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team rallied to win 5-4 over Quincy University on Friday afternoon in Quincy, Ill.
Conner and
Loree Hazelrigg put Jewell up 1-0 with an 8-6 win at No.2 doubles. After the Cards fell at No. 1 doubles,
Savannah Drew and
Lauren Huddlestun put the Cards up 2-1 with an 8-6 win.
The Hawks came out and took a 4-2 match lead with wins at No. 1, No.2 and No. 3 singles respectively.
Huddlestun,
Loree Hazelrigg, and
Katy Lehenbauer all won in straight sets to give the Cards the 5-4 match win.
William Jewell (9-7, 2-2 GLVC) will travel to St. Louis, Mo., to take on University of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
