The William Jewell College baseball team saw their offense came to life in an 8-1 win in the loser's bracket of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament against University of Indianapolis on Friday afternoon. 

After scoring a single run in the third Jewell erupted for five runs in the fourth highlighted by a two run double from Luke Lucchetti and a two run single from Bryan Porting.  Jewell added two more runs in the seventh before giving up a solo run to UINDY in the eighth.

Preston Felgate (6-0) earned the win tossing 7.2 innings giving up six hits while striking out three.

Hunter Brown went 4-5 with two runs scored and an RBI while Porting finished 2-5 with three RBI's.  Dane Erbst contributed three hits in four at bats with a run scored and two RBI's.  

The win continued the Cardinals' run in the conference tournament and Jewell will now take on number one seed Quincy University tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
