The William Jewell women's soccer team was on the road at Rogers State University Tuesday night where they won in dominating fashion, 5-0 over the Hillcats. Jewell now stands at 3-2-2 on the season.
At the 11:55 mark senior 
Jade Gifford scored her third goal of the season off a pass from 
Sydney White to put the Cardinals up early 1-0. Freshman 
Emma Baldridge scored her first career goal on a breakaway at the 23:05 mark. Just 35 seconds later 
Aspen Hawkins also scored to put the Cardinals up 3-0 before the break.
Following nearly 50 minutes without a scoring change, sophomore 
Lexi Pommer got a header to find the net to add another goal for the Cardinals. Baldridge sealed the game with her second goal of the night at the 84:34 mark of the second period.
Overall the Cardinals outshot RSU 24-19 including 12-5 in shots on goal. Baldridge led Jewell with two goals in nine shots to go along with an assist. 
Emily Monroe grabbed four shots, while 
Alyson Galler had three. 
Hayley White recorded two assists with 
Sydney White and 
McKenzie Kellogg each having one.
Sophomore goalie 
Jordan Lewis recorded five saves on the night.
Next for the Cardinals is a matchup with No. 15 and undefeated Bellarmine University on Friday, September 25 at 5:00 p.m. at Greene Stadium on the William Jewell campus, followed by a game with Southern Indiana on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
