No. 1 doubles came off the court first for Jewell as
Savannah Drew and
Lauren Huddlestun defeated Allison Corfield and Jennifer Luedtke  8-2. The William Jewell No. 2 combination of
Lisanne Visseren and
Sabrine Navarro followed suit with an 8-6 victory over Taylor Stout and Danika Good. The Braves earned their only victory of the dual at No. 3 doubles when Madeline Bellew and Taylor Laures edged out
Hannah Waine and
Caroline Lane 8-6.

In singles play Jewell closed out the decision with wins at No. 4, No. 1 and No. 2. Navarro defeated Stout 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 and Drew took out Corfield 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Visseren earned the match clinching win at No. 2 with her 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 win over Luedtke. Waine make a tremendous comeback after dropping her first set to earn a 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 3.Â
Claire Mackay scored a straight sets victory 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 over Laures while
Seki Anderson closed out the night with an 8-2 victory at No. 6.Â

The Cardinals will host Missouri Western State University on Wednesday, September 30 at 3:00 p.m. on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.Â
