The William Jewell College men's soccer team hosted McKendree University today in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at Greene Stadium. McKendree came into this afternoon's contest on the heals of upsetting No. 1 ranked Rockhurst University on Friday night.
Both teams would battle and the game would end in a 1-1 tie in 2OT.
Jewell moves to 2-10-1 overall and 2-6-3 in league play while McKendree goes to 3-6-3 and 2-6-3 in the GLVC.
McKendree got on the board at the 13:41 mark when Andrew Ducharme scored his first goal of the season to put the Bearcats up 1-0. The Cardinals had a couple of scoring chances but could not find the back of the net and went into halftime down 1-0.
The Cards dominated possession in the second half and Jewell tied things up 67:06 mark when

Gavin Kiger for his first goal of the season to tie the game 1-1.
Jewell would hold on to force overtime for the second straight game. This time no goals were scored in each overtime period.

The Cardinals will host Missouri S&T on Friday at Greene Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
