The William Jewell College men's soccer team (2-12-1, 2-10-1 GLVC) was defeated 2-0 at Drury University (10-3-3, 8-3-3 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Shots were 23-11 in favor of Drury, who fired ten shots on net.
Hunter Short led Jewell with three shots including one on goal. Nicholas Helin got the win in net for Drury, making two saves.
Quinn Ruggeri took the loss for Jewell, making eight saves.
The Panthers scored their goals in the 19th and 56th minutes respectively.Â
The Cardinals return home to wrap up the regular season on Wednesday against nationally ranked Rockhurst University at 7:30 p.m. at Greene Stadium. Â
