Box Score 2 The William Jewell College women's tennis teams pushed their winning streak to three with two match wins on Saturday. The Cards defeated Lewis and Clark Community College 8-1 and followed that with a dominating 9-0 performance over Kentucky Wesleyan. The Cardinals improve to 7-7 overall on the year.
Against Lewis and Clark, Jewell came out of doubles up 3-0. Senior

Lauren Huddlestun got the Cards off to a great start winning at No. 1 8-2. Jewell's
Sabrine Navarro and
Lisanne Visseren and Claire MacKay and
Caroline Lane won their matches 8-1 at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
Jewell won five of the six singles matches with Lewis and Clarks only win coming at No. 1 singles.
In the nightcap, the Cardinals defeated a short handed Kentucky Wesleyan squad 9-0. Jewell won No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by scores of 8-2 and 8-0. The Cards got a default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles as Kentucky Wesleyan only had five players.
The Cardinals dominated singles action not losing a single game in all five matches.
Jewell will return to action on Monday, March 28 when they travel to Emporia, Kan., to take on Emporia State University at 2:00 p.m.
