Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team posted its fourth straight win and eighth overall as the Cardinals improved to 8-7 this season. Jewell recorded a 7-2 victory over Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan., on Monday afternoon.

The Cardinals got off to a roaring start when senior Savannah Drew and junior Lauren Huddlestun dominated play at No. 1 doubles 8-1.  Sabrine Navarro and Lisanne Visseren followed that with an 8-4 at No. 2 and Claire Mackay and Hannah Waine completed the sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 3. 

Needing just two singles matches for the dual victory Jewell received wins from Huddlestun at No.1, Visseren at No. 4, Navarro at No.5 and Waine at No. 6

Jewell returns to the courts on Wednesday, March 30, taking on Missouri Valley College at Clayview Country Club.  First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
