The William Jewell College women's tennis team dropped their fourth straight falling to Newman University 9-0 on Saturday at Clayview Country Club. 

Newman took all three doubles matches with Jewell coming close at No.1 doubles losing a tough fought 8-6 match.

Newman swept the singles matches in straight sets in all but one match.  Sophomore Claire Mackay lost a heartbreaking three set match 6-7, 6-2 and 11-9.

Jewell will host Harding University on Friday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m.
