Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team closed the curtain on the 2016 season today with a 9-0 loss to Great Lakes Valley Conference foe University of Missouri-St. Louis on the UMSL campus in St. Louis, Mo.
 
The Tritons came out of doubles up 3-0 with the Cardinals losing tough 8-6 battles at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles respectively. 
 
At No. 4 singles, first-year player Lisanne Visseren won her first set 6-4 before falling 6-1 and 10-3 in a super tiebreaker for the third and deciding set.  Junior Lauren Huddlestun lost a tightly contested 6-4, 6-4 match at No. 1 singles.
 
The Cardinals end their season with an overall record of 11-10 and a 2-4 mark in the GLVC.
