Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team took one out of three doubles matches but was swept in singles play in an 8-1 defeat at Drury University on Saturday.

The host Panthers(13-1, 4-0 GLVC) won their fourth match in a row while the Cardinals fall to 9-9 overall and 0-2 in GLVC play. 

Hannah Waine and Claire Mackay won their No. 3 doubles match by a score of 8-2. 

Drury swept the singles matches to earn the decisive team win, winning all six of them in straight sets.

The Cardinals will continue GLVC play on Friday when they play host to Truman State at 2:00 p.m.
