The William Jewell women's soccer team got a late second half goal to earn a 1-1 draw with Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Maryville on Sunday afternoon at Greene Stadium. With the tie, the Cardinals move to 6-3-1 overall and 4-2-1 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• '3 - Maryville's Caite Huesgen scores a quick goal off the assist from Casey Gonzalez and Allison Verville.
• '84 - Jewell's Aspen Hawkins tied the game late with a goal off the assist from Emma Baldridge. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Saints out shot Jewell 18-12 overall and 13-8 on goal.

IN GOAL: 

• Senior goalkeeper Jordan Lewis moved 6-3-1 on the season while posting a career high 12 saves.
