The William Jewell women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie in double overtime at University of Missouri-St. Louis on Friday evening.  The Cards move to 6-3-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 40:20 –Jordyn White scored her first goal of the season for the Tritons off a penalty kick. 
• 68:56  –Aspen Hawkins tied the game for Jewell off her free kick from 35 yards out. It was her second goal of 2017.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals out shot the Tritons 23-10 Cardinals 13-5 and in shots on goal.   

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Hayley White led Jewell with four shots while Annelee Arbeitman, Alyson Galler and Kayla Crowder each had three.
   

IN GOAL

• Goalie Jordan Lewis played all 110 minutes and made four stops.

YOU SHOULD NOTE

• This is the second straight game in which the Cardinals have played to a tie.

Jewell will travel to Lebanon, Ill., on Sunday to take on McKendree University.  Kick-off is slated for 12:00 p.m.
