The William Jewell College men's soccer team hosted Bellarmine University this afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.   The Cards fell 3-1 and with the loss drop to 3-11 overall and 1-10 in league play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 23:37 Tomas Bernado knocked in his second goal of the season off an assist from Greg Fisher inside the box to put the Knights up 1-0.
• 51:01 Ryan Fagan scored off an assist from Greg Fisher to put BU up 2-0.
• 60:15 Teddy Gifford scored off a free kick to cut the lead to 2-1
• 72:27 Callum Southern scored his seventh goal of the season off an assist from Mitch Lammert to put the Knights up 3-1 which ended up as the final score.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals only had two shots on the afternoon.

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Aaron Froelich and Teddy Gifford each had one shot. 

IN GOAL

• Nick Cooper made six saves in 90 minutes of action.
