The William Jewell College women's soccer team fell 1-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at McKendree University on Sunday afternoon.  Jewell falls to 6-4-2 overall and 4-3-2 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 75:39 –Kate Bixby scored the only goal of the game off a pass from Chelsea Whittaker. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals out shot the Bearcats 19-13 but McKendree held a 9-8 advantage in shots on goal.   

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Alyson Galler had a game high 7 shots while Kayla Crowder had three. 
   

IN GOAL

• Goalie Jordan Lewis made 8 saves in 90 minutes of play.  

YOU SHOULD NOTE

• Jewell held a 12-2 shot advantage in the first half but could not capitalize.
