The Cardinals fall to 0-1 overall while the Wildcats improve to 1-0.
Jewell fell behind 3-0 after doubles but came back with a flurry in singles play.

Whitney Holloman won in three sets. The Wildcats were able to clinch the dual with wins at No.1 and No. 6 singles respectively.
The Cardinals will open spring season action when they host University of Nebraska-Omaha in an exhibition match on Sunday, January 21. First serve is set for 4:45 p.m.
