Bulla Graft has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Special Teams Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.
Graft helped lead Jewell to a 45-28 win over Quincy University on Saturday evening on the road after posting 141 yards on five kick returns. His longest return of 40 yards is the second best of his career and led to a third-quarter touchdown that began the streak of 31 unanswered points by the Cardinals.
The wide receiver also rushed five times for 32 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 24 yards.
This is the first special teams weekly award for Graft and the first Cardinal to earn the honor since
Brandon Womack in October 2015.
