Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis team fell on Saturday to Drury University in their Great Lakes Valley Conference opener, 8-1.
 
The loss drops the Cards to 5-6 on the season, while the win sends the #14 team in the nation to 14-2.
 
After falling in all three doubles matches, Jade Moore earned the lone point for Jewell as she won her match at No.6 via injury default. Junior Claire Mackay lost a tough three set battle at No. 2 singles. 

The Cardinals will travel to Emporia, Kan., on Wednesday, April 5 as they take on Emporia State University.  First-serve is set for 12:00 p.m.
