Box Score The William Jewell College women's tennis duo of Becca Richison and Claire Mackay lost a tough 9-7 battle at No. 1 doubles falling just short of recording a point for the Cardinals as they fell to Maryville University, 9-0.

In singles play, the Saints did not give up a set in the six matches.  Jewell falls to 5-10 overall and 0-4 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.  Maryville improves to 14-8 overall and 3-2 in league play. 

The Cardinals will conclude their 2016 season tomorrow when they host University of Missouri-St. Louis at 11:00 a.m. at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, Mo.
