The William Jewell College women's soccer team dropped its first game of the 2017 season as Truman State University shutout the Cardinals 1-0 on Friday afternoon in Kirksville, Mo.  Jewell is now 4-1 overall this season and 2-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- 42:23 Paige Peterson scored the only goal of the game when she connected from 22 yards out.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
	- The Cardinals out shot the Bulldogs overall 13-9 with only 2 being on goal.

	- Jordan Lewis gave up her first goal of the season and falls to 4-1 on the season. 
 
YOU SHOULD NOTE
	- This was the first GLVC loss of the season for Jewell.
- Lewis is currently ranked second in the GLVC in saves.
