The William Jewell men's soccer team gave up two first half goals and fell 2-0 to Drury University this afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action in Springfield, Mo.  With the loss Jewell falls to 1-5 overall and 0-5 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 31:00 –Ben Bruce put Drury on the board with his fourth goal of the season. 
• 44:01  –Brody Johnson scored his first goal of the year that produced the 2-0 winning score.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Panthers out shot the Cardinals 19-11 and led 6-5 in shots on goal.   

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Drew Dempsey led the Cards with three shots including two on goal.  
   

IN GOAL

• Goalie Quinn Ruggeri made four stops on the afternoon.

• The game was delayed one hour and 45 minutes due to severe weather in the area..
