The William Jewell men's soccer team ended a three game losing skid defeating Harding University 2-0 this afternoon in Liberty, Mo.   Jewell moves to 2-5 overall on the season while Harding falls to 3-4-2. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• 5:31 –Drew Dempsey scored his fourth goal of the year off an assist from Alex Trinidad.
• 58:45  –Teddy Gifford knocked in his third goal of the year off an assist from Chris Cotton from five yards out.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Bison out shot the Cardinals 13-4 both teams had two shots on goal.

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• The Cards had four players with one shot each.

IN GOAL

• Goalie Nick Cooper made two saves on the afternoon to earn his first win of the season. 

YOU SHOULD NOTE

• The Cardinals lost by an identical score of 2-0 to Harding last September in Searcy, Ark.
