The William Jewell softball team matched their best start since 2011 at 7-0 with a 4-0 win over Walsh University on Saturday morning before suffering their first loss of the season in a 13-1 set back at the hands of Winona State in the nightcap. The Cardinals now stand at 7-1 on the season.
